Internet has brought about revolutionary changes in our life styles and has impacted almost every sphere of our life knowingly and unknowingly. Having a computer and a broadband connection is enough for anyone to be connected to the virtual world and almost do anything.
Computer in combination with the internet have brought immense benefits for the good of mankind. Paying those electricity and utility bills standing in a queue is a thing of the past. Just by the click of a button these payments can be made using the internet. Purchasing your favorite music album available somewhere deep in New Jersey is no longer a problem. The internet is there to solve the problem and within a few minutes the music could be downloaded on to your system. Watching the favorite movie, buying cinema tickets, booking an appointment with the doctor, the list is endless. In fact life without a computer and internet is becoming unimaginable because of the various benefits associated with it.
On the flip side however, internet and computers have lot of disadvantages too. The biggest disadvantage is that it makes a human being totally dependent on the machine. The good old days of socializing and meeting people regularly in person is slowly becoming a thing of the past. Though a number of socializing websites are available, the human element and personal touch is missing in these contacts. Further, children are getting more and more hooked to the computer and internet and have all but forgotten the pleasure of going out into the open and being close to nature.
But in spite of the banes associated with computer and internet we can confidently claim that these two as a team have become gadgets which we cannot do without at least till such time something more advanced and more customer friendly comes into being.
